It's high in antioxidants which protects your skin from aging free radicals. It helps to keep your complexion vibrant, and it is often utilized as a relaxant due to its natural ability to inhibit cortisol.

Simply mix 1-2 teaspoons of the dry clay mask with your liquid medium of choice. Some favorite options are tea, yogurt, juice, honey, milk, hydrosols, or plain water. Each 2 ounce packet contains approximately 8-10 face masks!

When applying a clay mask, the general guideline is to leave it on until it's almost dry, which typically takes about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the application and the type of clay used.

Here's why timing matters:

Initial Moist Phase: Right after application, the clay is moist. During this phase, your skin absorbs the beneficial minerals from the mask.

Start of Drying Phase: As the mask begins to dry, it starts the process of adsorption, drawing out impurities and excess oil from your skin's surface.

Final Dry Phase: You'll want to rinse off the mask before it fully dries and hardens. When a clay mask dries completely, it can draw out too much oil, leading to dehydration and irritation. This can also cause unnecessary pulling on the skin, which might lead to redness or sensitivity.

Leaving a clay mask on for too long can reverse its benefits, causing dehydration and irritation.

For sensitive skin types, it might be beneficial to wash off the mask even before it starts drying, to prevent any potential irritation.
