AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) are chemical exfoliants, as opposed to physical ones (like that rough apricot scrub we've all used). They actually much more gentle and effective at exfoliating our skin. AHAs (and BHAs) help to loosen the bonds that hold our topmost layer of dead, dull skin cells together. The AHAs soften that bond and our skin is able to evenly shed the old cells.

A beautifully moist and improved texture of your skin!

AHAs may also assist in reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, plus they help the skin look and feel firmer!
They are also used to improve the appearance of that dull skin tone we hate and helps to smooth out a rough, uneven texture.

This formula works on the surface of your skin (does not penetrate) and is particularly well-suited for normal to dry skin. AHAs have wonderful moisturizing benefits and are known to reduce the signs of sun-damage and appearance of aging skin.

Why should we even bother with a toner?
It helps the skin by balancing the pH as well as minimizing the look of pores. It is also beneficial in removing anything missed during cleansing.
One of my favorite reasons to use a toner is that it prepares the skin to receive the serums and moisturizers that follow.

To use:
Apply with a cotton round after cleansing. This formula is mild enough for daily use.

You do NOT have to rinse this off. Follow with your serums and moisturizer. You may also use a toner before the AHAs if you would like, but it is designed to be a skin toner as well.

Please use caution when going out into the sun. The best advice I can give is to always wear a sunscreen and a beautiful big hat.

*** If you have never used AHAs or BHAs before, I would suggest starting out with just 2-3 times a week, then moving up. I use this twice a day, morning and night. If you have extremely sensitive skin, this may not be the toner for you. I would suggest our regular skin toners, as they are extremely mild. ***
